THE MIRACLE IS HERE!!!

We've just gotten a call from Dr. Pressey that Dr. Weiss----the pathologist in Atlanta----has declared PAUL DOES NOT HAVE CANCER!!
He has nodular fasciitis. Here is a definition from the Internet:

"Nodular fasciitis is an unusual benign reactive process affecting superficial and deep fascia. Its rapid growth, rich cellularity, high mitotic activity and poorly circumscribed nature result in it being easily misdiagnosed as a sarcomatous lesion."

Obviously, we are stunned! We will still meet with Dr. Pressey tomorrow to see the CT scan (and the golf ball sized "thing" growing off his collarbone).

All praise to God for this miracle!! Thank God for answered prayers!
Thank you all for your prayers. I am bawling with joy.

More later....

  6. Stacy and Chris - I read your blog earlier today and began praying for Paul and your family...you've been in my thoughts all evening, and so I came back to send you a comforting word from the apostle Paul, "I have the strength to face all conditions from the power Christ gives me." And instead I get to read about your miracle!! Pete and I are overjoyed for you. Now I can send psalms "Give yourself to the Lord; trust in him and he will help you." What wonderful news! All our love, Kate and Pete

  7. Crying here in Oz for you, too. Couldn't work out what to type after reading of your afternoon in the park holding Paul and thankfully can stop contemplating how life might be without. So very, very pleased for you and trusting all gets better and better. We tend not to realise how precious they are until a tragedy occurs. Thank you for reminding me how short life might be. She forwarded your blog link to me today and I started reading and looking at pictures. We have actually met one another! We spent a long saturday morning sitting at the doc in the box on lakeshore and sharing our stories. I am so happy to hear that everything has turned around so quickly! Please feel free to email me smturner@bakerdonelson.com God Bless! Sara Turner
