Purpose for this blog...

I write this blog to
a) help keep those interested in Paul's progress up-to-date
b) illicit prayers for Paul and the medical staff that will help him
c) document the miracle of Paul's healing
d) make connections with other families suffering from this rare cancer

I've been told most of my life that I'm a private person who is hard to get to know. It will be hard for me to "bear my soul" on a public venue like this, but I'd like to try so I really might be able to connect with others going through this, and so that I can genuinely ask for your prayers.

  2. Stacy, I wont argue with what you say about yourself, but I will tell you again, that you were one of the best writers I ever had in class at Garrett. You have the capacity to articulate clearly and beautifully. This Blog is an opportunity for you to express your heart as openly as you choose. Those of us who know you well, know that your heart is full of love and kindness and deep compassion. These gifts will go a long way in bringing Paul into the loving healing hands of God. In the photo I posted you will see that I am pointing to my heart, because it goes out to you, Chris, Paul and family. God be with you.

  3. Stacy:

We are praying for all of you as you move forward. It is so hard to watch your child suffer through needles, bloodwork, and surgery. I have a grandson who was born August 11, 2008--same age.

  4. P.S. One of the gifts you can give others is to allow yourself to "bare your soul" during this process. We need to know what to pray for, specifically.

  5. Stacy, Your beautiful baby is in our prayers. We know you are in good hands, we have a few friend who have had treatment for brain tumor at Children's. I also volunteer at Children's Harbor the first Thursday of each month. If you are up there, go by and check it out, it is a good place to escape. The specific purpose is for that, to aide the families of patients going through treatment at Children's. We will keep checking in on you all. Love, Kathleen Jones Lawrence
